NVQ Level 2 Temporary Teaching Assistant Vacancy (x2 positions)

The Head Teacher and Governors of Rossmore School wish to appoint two temporary Teaching Assistants to cover maternity leave, starting September 2021. Please note that the minimum qualification requirement for this role is NVQ Level 2. The Teaching Assistant role is to support Teaching Staff within KS1/KS2. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (32.5 hours), 39 weeks per year (pro-rata), with a half hour lunch (Grade 4, SCP 4, pro-rata salary scale: £14,285 - £15,191). As these roles are to cover maternity leave, the roles will be initially until at least 31st March 2022, but are likely to extend beyond this. 

Rossmore School places the highest priority on keeping children safe in education and therefore applicants will be subject to stringent vetting processes and an enhanced DBS check (if successful).

Safeguarding, Pastoral and Inclusion Lead Vacancy

Are you passionate about inclusive education and opportunities for all? Have you got the qualifications and drive to undertake a specialist role and to be the lead person for all pastoral and safeguarding work within a primary school? If the answer is yes, then the Head Teacher and Governors of Rossmore School would love to hear from you.  We are looking to appoint a Grade 7 Safeguarding, Pastoral and Inclusion Lead, to start on 5th July 2021. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm (35 hours) during term time only. 

Rossmore School places the highest priority on keeping children safe in education and therefore applicants will be subject to stringent vetting processes and an enhanced DBS check (if successful). 

Unfortunately, visits to school can only take place for those attending interview.
