School Uniform

We strive to ensure our pupils enjoy wearing school uniform because it gives them a sense of pride and belonging. We believe that the appearance of members of our school is important as it reflects our attitude towards all aspects of school life. We ask parents to support us in maintaining these high standards.

Uniform

• White shirt and tie (red&white striped)

• Red sweatshirt/ jumper/cardigan (can be V-neck or round neck)

• Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore

• Black sensible shoes

Summer term only:

• White shirt and tie (on warm days pupils are permitted to wear their shirt unbuttoned at the top with no tie)

• White polo top (with no tie)

• Red sweatshirt/ jumper/cardigan (can be V-neck or round neck)

• Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore • Grey shorts • Summer dress- red&white checked

• Black sensible shoes PE Kit: white t-shirt/polo shirt, black shorts, black jogging bottoms, black pumps/trainers.

Swimming

• Girls: full swimming costumes (no bikinis)

• Boys: swimming trunks (shorts are not permitted).

If your child needs to wear swimming goggles, please can you write a short note to this effect and hand to the class teacher or in to the school office.

We also require that all children wear a swimming cap. If they do not, they will be unable to swim as this is a requirement of the swimming porvider that we use.

Uniform items can be purchased from The Uniform Shop, 30 Overpool Road, Ellesmere Port CH66 1JN, or through ‘Stitch Design’ www.stitchdesign.co.uk (register as a new customer using the school postcode CH66 1HF). Local supermarkets also all stock uniform items at very reasonable prices. 

PE Kits

  • Black shorts and white polo or tshirt.
  • In cold weather the children can wear black joggers with a black jumper

Children come to school wearing their PE kits on the days that they have PE. This information is given out on the school newsletter and stays the same day for at least half a term.
