Rossmore Pre-School
We operate a Pre-School for 48 weeks of the year with the exception of bank holidays, from 8am until 6pm. Our services do not operate for 2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks during the summer period as well as bank holidays. As part of this we offer Pre-School provision to 3-and-4 year old children as well as Wrap-Around Care to include Breakfast and After-School and Holiday Club for those aged 3-11 years.
In our pre-school we set the firm foundations for children’s development following the Early Years
foundation stage statutory guidance.
The children are at the centre of everything we do and we
value their individual interests.
We support our children through daily interactions to ensure they feel happy, safe and secure while
equipping them with the skills for their next stage moving into Reception.
Continuous provision is very important in pre-school to allow children to learn through play.
There are also adult directed activities to support children to learn new skills.
